Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe title battles set to heat up as Barcelona hosts penultimate stop on the 2025 calendar

Geraci-Knopp Hold the Advantage at the Top of the Pro Standings as Series Heads to Spain
Sant’Agata Bolognese, 8 October 2025 – The 2025 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Championship is heating up as the series heads to Spain for the next round at the famous Circuito de Jarama. With three rounds remaining, it’s a battle for the top spot in the Pro standings between the dynamic duo of Geraci-Knopp Racing.

After a thrilling start to the season, it was Geraci-Knopp who emerged as the early favorites to take home the Pro title. The team, led by Italian driver Enrico Geraci and his German counterpart Mark Knopp, have consistently shown their dominance on the track, leaving their rivals in their dust.

With six podium finishes out of eight races, including three wins, Geraci-Knopp currently holds a comfortable lead at the top of the Pro standings with 153 points. But they can’t afford to get complacent as their closest rivals are hot on their heels.

Chasing them down is the Italian team, Fiamma Rosso Racing, who have been equally impressive with four podium finishes, including two wins. Led by Andrea Rossi and Marco Bianchi, Fiamma Rosso is just 14 points behind Geraci-Knopp and ready to pounce on any opportunity to claim the top spot.

But it’s not just a two-horse race for the Pro title. The Spanish team, Carrera Racing, is also in the mix with 126 points. Led by local favorite, Carlos Martinez, and his Brazilian partner, Lucas Oliveira, Carrera Racing has shown their speed and determination on the track, securing two podium finishes and a win at the iconic Monza circuit.

As the series heads to Spain, all eyes will be on the battle at the top of the Pro standings. The Circuito de Jarama is known for its challenging turns and technical layout, providing the perfect stage for these talented drivers to showcase their skills.

For Geraci-Knopp, the goal is simple – to maintain their lead and extend it further with another victory. Enrico Geraci, who has been in top form this season, believes that their teamwork and consistent performance have been the key to their success so far.

“We have a great understanding on and off the track, which has helped us to stay ahead of the competition. But we can’t get too comfortable as the season is far from over, and anything can happen in motorsports,” said Geraci.

Meanwhile, Fiamma Rosso Racing is determined to close the gap and overtake Geraci-Knopp at the top. Team manager, Marco Bianchi, is confident in his team’s abilities and believes that they have the pace to challenge for the Pro title.

“We have been consistently improving our performance, and we are ready to take on Geraci-Knopp in Spain. Our goal is to close the gap and put pressure on them to make a mistake,” said Bianchi.

But one team that can’t be counted out is Carrera Racing. With the home advantage, they will have the support of the Spanish fans, and Carlos Martinez is determined to give them something to cheer about.

“We have shown that we have the speed to compete at the front. We just need to put all the pieces together and deliver a perfect race in front of our home crowd,” said Martinez.

As the battle for the Pro title intensifies, the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Championship promises to deliver more exhilarating races and fierce competition. The stage is set, and the drivers are ready to fight for glory as the series heads to Spain. Stay tuned for all the action from the Circuito de Jarama on 16-18 October 2025.
