The case reached the attention of the President of the Paris Bar Association through the daughter of a former client of the firm, now deceased. She explained that following a “cold call,” her father — then 86 years old, suffering from diabetes and other multiple conditions — had been the victim of a major scam carried out by the company Solutions Crypto, to which he had transferred, through several bank transfers, an amount close to 1,300,000 euros with no return.
Stéphane Draï, who presented himself as “a specialist in this type of scam,” had taken charge of defending his interests in both civil and criminal proceedings, for total fees of €88,680.
